Feb 12th Sunday'Earrings' Learn a variety of silversmithing techniques, including some suitable to continue with at home. Challenge your creativity in making up to six pairs of individual studs or drops. Fresh water pearls are always on hand to add some prettiness to your designs!
March 11thSunday'Rings'; an ever popular workshop; where you will learn how to form, solder and finish silver into a variety of original designs.Use hammer textures, letter stamps and different finishes to make your own unique rings, which can be worn separately or stacked together.
April 13th Friday 'Silver and Mixed Media Jewellery' learn how to turn silver tubing into delicate rivets and create handmade chain links to draw together silver with an array of materials such as plastics, woods and leathers to form precious mixed media jewellery.
April 15th Sunday 'Bangles' A popular workshop, offering the opportunity to discover how to form and forge silver to create two bangles. The challenge is to make them both fit perfectly! (Please feel free to bring along anything which you would like to add to your bangle as a charm and we'll see what we can do!)
June Sat 16thand Sun 17th'Chain Weekend' Two days of forming, forging and planishing away to make your very own unique silver chain, a perfect way to learn and then practice traditional silversmithing techniques. An ideal opportunity the make a quality, contemporary, chunky, silver chain you have always wanted. 10-3pm. £118
